Floyd County Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting for Appalachian Tire


Appalachian Tire Products officially opened their 21st location in Prestonsburg.

Appalachian Tire Products officially opened their 21st location in Prestonsburg. The Floyd County Chamber of Commerce welcomed the business to the community with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 18. The event was attended by Chamber members, shop employees, elected officials, community members and corporate officers.
In addition to the Ribbon Cutting ceremony, Grand Opening activities included tire giveaways, free hotdogs, a remote radio broadcast and many other prizes. Jennifer Dial, President of Appalachian Tire, said how glad she was to have a location in Prestonsburg and wanted to thank the community for their warm welcome.
Appalachian Tire has been in business since 1947. The Prestonsburg location is a seven bay store which is a full service location with tire service, oil changes, brake service, tire alignments, air conditioner service, front end suspension work and much more said Greg Stover, Corporate Retail Manager. The store is managed by Jamie Potter and is open Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 6:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. To contact Appalachian Tire call (606) 263-4958.
